My daughter purchased 2 lamps from World Market online and was confirmed to pick up today in North Raleigh. Drive one hour to pick up and only 1 ready. They refuse to transfer to closer store or ship to her home. Manager is totally rude and this store is a mess. NEVER AGAIN WORLD MARKET!

My name is Luda and I bought yesterday a daybed from the store located in Brooklyn, NY. It was unbelievable experience from the first call I made to the putting my daybed in my car. Would. I so happy with my beautiful daybed and with the service I got there. I would like to really express my gratitude to the people, who was helping me, Eija, Idan and the young beautiful girl (sorry forgot her name but she help me to put the boxes in my car). Everybody are professional people and very, very nice.

I received a special notice to click here for $5.00 certificate (3). When I did they said I was not a qualified customer. When I complained, they blocked my email address. Very Rude…

If you HAVE to buy something from World Market ... go to a physical store. Do not buy anything from them online, because if you need to return it, they do not honor the return policy clearly stated on their website. Customer service will do everything they can to frustrate and tire you out in the hopes you will just quit and let the company keep your money. Their return policy is a lie.

I tried to return a rug I bought online (mind you it arrived late) and all customer service did was give me the runaround when I called and emailed multiple times to ask about the process of returning the item to the warehouse.

I have been to the World Market in Carmel, Indiana 3 times now and have been overcharged 2 of them. The first was a $6 charge and the last time was $1. Probably most people don't look at their receipts but I do. I got the $6 back when I returned to the store but won't the incorrect charge from a few days ago as I don't live close and don't plan to return. You need to check your receipt before you leave the store. This seems to be a pattern.

Their stuff sucks now! Items are no longer from around the world like they used to be. Quality of the items they do have is really cheap and not worth the pricing. So sad that World Market changed so much and I've shopped there for around 15 years! I'm done going there.

I ordered a beautiful painting. When it arrived it was the wrong painting. When I called them, they said they would refund me and give me the painting. Now they are saying I needed to return it. They never sent a ups label. They lie, instead of just sending me a refund they send a very ugly painting. This store is bs.

I ordered Hungarian paprika online to pick it up at Stevens Creek, San Jose store. According to their web site, it is available in stock (5 cans, actually). I got the order confirmation. Called them two days later and was told that they don't have the spice I ordered in stock, but they have not emailed me a cancellation order and, apparently, have not even tried to call another store (there are a few of them in the area). They are trying to promote online shopping but don't keep they web site in sync with the inventory. Very bad experience overall!

What a lousy company! I was injured at a world market which is one of your companies. I broke my finger, was treated at the ER they had to saw of my ring because my finger swell up so bad not to mention the pain. The incident is on tape they told me. I wrote Cost Plus, got a sympathy note and was told someone will get in touch with me with another email address. Can't find anything in SPAM nor in my mail. It has been repeated several times with costumer service
Is anybody caring about there costumers? Is the company broke not to reimburse me for repairing my ring, for being treated at the ??????

More like, China Market than world market. Disappointed. Would have purchased so much, however, only purchased items made places other than China, which wasn't much. So many cool things I has to leave behind. Etsy here I come. Food stuff should be divided by Nationality. All oriental things are not alike. Sometimes we just need to see the Korean. Vietnamese, Japanese, etc.
